Review - Galileo in 90 minutes - John & Mary Gribbin

Like its companions in the series, this isn't going to leave you an expert on the subject - but then what can you expect from a book subtitled 'in 90 minutes'? Actually, you have to be a pretty slow reader to take that long to read it. There are only 66 pages before you hit the timeline shared with other 'in 90 minute' books.

Okay, it's no masterpiece - but it does what it says on the tin. If you want a quick grounding in the basics of Galileo's life and works, this will give it to you.

Then you'll probably want to find out more - and let's face it, there's plenty to find out about Galileo the man, let alone Galileo the scientist - but it's a start.

It's out of print, but you should find plenty of used copies available from Amazon.
