Review - Faraday in 90 minutes - John & Mary
Gribbin

To be quite honest, this isn't a great book - it's something I think even the Gribbins would agree was a quick money-spinner. But it serves a useful purpose.
If you want a quick introduction to who Faraday was and why he was significant in the development of science, perhaps for a school report, this is a good way of getting the basics quickly.
It's thin - just 66 pages before you get to a timeline shared through the series, and unusually for Gribbin it's better on Faraday the man the Faraday's science. Even so, if you want a quick, painless intro it's no bad thing.
It's out of print, but you should find plenty of used copies available from Amazon.
